Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using HireScore (the "Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to this agreement, and the terms "you" and "your organization" refer to that entity.
2. Description of Service
HireScore is a SaaS platform that helps organizations automatically analyze candidate resumes and match them against job vacancies using artificial intelligence, including models provided by third-party vendors (see Section 10).
The Service provides ranking, scoring, and analytics tools for HR professionals and recruiters. Analysis results are advisory in nature and do not replace independent human judgment when evaluating a candidate.
3. Accounts and Registration
You must create an account and provide accurate, current information to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Within an organization, roles with different permission levels are available: Owner, Administrator, and Recruiter. The organization's Owner is responsible for appropriately assigning roles to their team members.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
HireScore operates on a subscription basis with several plans that differ in vacancy and resume-analysis limits. Current plans and their contents are listed on the "Pricing & Billing" page within the app.
Subscription payments are processed through a third-party payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a paid period, except where required by applicable law.
5. Free Trial
New organizations may be offered a free trial period with a limited feature set and usage limits. We reserve the right to modify trial terms or revoke trial access for individual users if we detect signs of abuse.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, upload malicious content, attempt to reverse-engineer the system, or interfere with the platform's normal operation (including automated scraping, overloading the system with requests, or circumventing your plan's technical limits).
You may not use the Service to discriminate against candidates on grounds protected under applicable employment law (gender, age, nationality, religion, disability, or similar protected characteristics). AI analysis results must never be the sole basis for rejecting a candidate — a human must always make the final decision.
7. Candidate Data — Your Organization's Responsibility
As the client organization, you are solely responsible for the lawfulness of uploading and processing candidate resumes through the Service, including having a valid legal basis to collect and store such data in your jurisdiction, and for notifying candidates of such processing where required by applicable law.
HireScore acts as a technical processor of the data you provide, and processes candidate resumes solely to deliver the Service's functionality (analysis, ranking, report generation).
8. AI Analysis — Limitation of Reliance
Scores, rankings, profession detection, and other AI analysis outputs are generated automatically based on resume text and vacancy descriptions and may contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or fitness of analysis results for any specific hiring decision.
You are solely responsible for any hiring decisions made using or based on data provided by the Service.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its source code, design, trademarks, and documentation, is the property of HireScore or its licensors. These Terms grant you no intellectual property rights in the Service beyond a limited right to use it under these Terms.
You retain all rights to the data you upload to the Service (vacancy descriptions, candidate resumes, organization information).
10. Third-Party Service Providers
To deliver the Service's functionality, we rely on third-party providers, including (without limitation): an artificial intelligence provider for analyzing resume and vacancy text, a payment provider for subscription processing, and an email service for notifications. Using the Service means you consent to relevant data being shared with these providers to the extent necessary for them to perform their services.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data stored in the Service, including encryption in transit and role-based access control. That said, no method of data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
12. Confidentiality Between Organizations
Your organization's data (vacancies, candidate resumes, analytics) is isolated from other organizations using the Service and is not accessible to other clients. Limited read access may be granted to HireScore support staff solely for technical support and incident investigation purposes (see the Privacy Policy for details).
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to an account that violates these Terms or misuses the Service, with or without notice, where warranted by the circumstances (e.g. suspected fraud or a security breach).
You may stop using the Service at any time by canceling your subscription in the "Subscription & Usage" section.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireScore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, including lost profits or data loss.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory provisions of your local law require otherwise.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app interface or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Contact
For any questions about these Terms, email [email protected] or use the "Contact Support" form inside the app.
